Jeffrey Wynn Davies continues to enhance his reputation as one of our busiest and most versatile choral conductors. This year, as Artistic Director of the Association of British Choral Directors Millennium Convention, he directed 5 international choirs in the world premiere of Andrew Carter's "The Mystical Trumpeter". Jeffrey is in demand as a guest conductor and choral trainer for most of the major British choral organisations. He has directed 7 choral festivals for the BBC and regularly adjudicates at festivals throughout the UK, Ireland & Europe. His Harrogate Choral Week, which regularly attracts over 200 singers is now established as a major national choral event. In addition to Canzonetta, Jeffrey directs the Manchester Chorale and the Harrogate Choral Society. He regularly works with professional orchestras including Manchester Camerata (www.camerataensemble.dabsol.co.uk) and the BT Scottish Ensemble. Jeffrey acted as Chorus Master to both Luciano Pavarotti and Jose Carreras during their UK performances and only needs Domingo for the set! |
